Sculptra® Aesthetic is a non-animal, biodegradable injectable dermal filler made from poly-L-lactic acid. It is designed for use in individuals with healthy immune systems to restore facial volume and improve skin texture naturally from within.

Sculptra® has been used safely in the NHS for many years and is licensed for the treatment of facial lipoatrophy associated with HIV. It works by stimulating the skin’s natural collagen production, gradually plumping facial contours, lines, and wrinkles over time.

How It Works

Sculptra® is reconstituted prior to treatment and injected deep into the skin. Collagen production begins gradually, and within 6–8 weeks, the skin appears smoother, firmer, and more youthful.

Possible Side Effects

• Small lumps or nodules under the skin may occasionally develop; these are generally not visible and often resolve over time
